My pal Ali King at animoto.com created this cool animated version of one of my comics, My Goddamn Neighbor. I generally don't like motion comics, but I think this comic lent itself well to this treatment. You can check it out here. Thanks Ali!

American Museum of Natural History
Sketches done a while ago from the dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History, plus a dinosaur fossil. Drawing animals is a great exercise in realizing the discrepancy from what you think you know and reality. That is to say, I like to think that I could just sit down and knock out a sketch of a lion out of my head, but such a drawing certainly would not match up to the reality of a lion's anatomy, the pattern of its mane, the position of its features, and so on.

The Mighty Thor
About to see the new Thor movie. I'm not the hugest Thor fan, though I did love Walt Simonson's run back in the day, and I liked the way he was treated in the initial Ultimates run. I have moderately high hopes for the film.
Here's Thor versus the Wrecking Crew. You gotta love these guys. The leader - The Wrecker - has a magic crowbar! And his lackeys all have construction-related shticks. They don't make 'em like this any more. Drawn and colored in Photoshop.
